"Beds are the BEST!" - "Stayed here overnight as we had a late arrival from the airport. Bright, modern lobby and pleasant staff at reception. I have a bad back, and was truly delighted with the quality of the bed. I think without doubt it was the best hotel bed I have slept in for a long time. Breakfast was not included, but my husband's omelet was well cooked and a reasonable value. Service was excellent."

"LOVED this place! Price was great for 3 star!" - "Super modern decorations, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I stayed here as a traveling nurse to the area and though I wouldn't be able to afford it every week, it was worth every penny. The rooms were a tad smaller than I would have thought and there was no microwave, but other than that, zero I could contribute! I would love to come back in the future, so worth it. ♡"

"Great stay, recommended" -"I booked our stay through a "Hidden Hotel" deal website and got an excellent rate. We stayed for 11 days and I booked two rooms. The hotel was very clean, the staff were friendly and the bed was wonderful; very, very comfortable. The location is behind the SRQ airport but we never heard any noise from the planes. Our room was on the 6th floor next to the elevator and vending/ice machine area. It was not noisy at all. We ate at the restaurant several times and the food was adequate. Morning coffee is free and they also offer complimentary laundry facilities. You can buy detergent from a small sundry store on the ground floor. All in all we were very pleased with our stay and will continue to book with them in the future."

"Restful" -"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel the front desk was very helpful and courteous. Especially Gary he took good care of us and he was easy to talk to. "Business" -"One of the cleanest and comfortable hotel I been in all year. Not sure how new this hotel is, but everything seems to be new. Great rooms with all the amenities that you could ask for, sleeper beds, great fitness and pool area. Quiet hotel with friendly staff. I would recommend this hotel."

"My very favorite of all Holiday Inn hotels....." -"I have stayed at this Holiday Inn numerous times over the last 6 years. This is most definitely one of my favorite hotels in Sarasota and probably has to be my all time favorite HI. We have stayed in almost every category of room in the hotel from a standard 2 bed to the 2 bed suite, the suite with a Jacuzzi tub, the kids suite with bunk beds...they are all very nice rooms. The restaurant is hit or miss....I have had the best food and service there....and I have had okay food with the worst service ever. But....I keep going back because I love the hotel. The fire pit outside is a great touch for after ball games. I strongly endorse this property."

"13th Wedding Anniversary Celebration" -"My husband and I spent the weekend here this past weekend to celebrate our 13th wedding anniversary. Just the two of us with NO kids. The hotel staff was great! Between being greeted by Mary Jane at the front desk when we checked in and throughout the weekend, Carol at the bar, general manager and overall the entire staff at Holiday Inn. Everyone always had a smile on their face and greeted you with good morning or good evening. We didn't use our phones the entire weekend, which was awesome! The beach is about 15 minutes away from this hotel. The amenities on the premises were great too. Inside pool, sauna, gym, bar, restaurant, sitting area outside with a choice of a fire, breakfast that was hot and fresh. With the rainy season it was nice to have the option to swim if we wanted to. The food at the restaurant was good and the drinks were even better. Try the nachos... Yummy.... We travel a lot to Sarasota beach and will definitely be back with our group. The only thing I disliked about the hotel was there was no outdoor pool but there was an area to lay out so it worked out well. I recommend this hotel to anyone who is traveling as a couple or a family."

"One and only indoor pool in Sarasota" -"We stayed at this hotel for the indoor pool on a very rainy weekend. The kids loved it and my husband and I want to come back without them. The pool was clean and the perfect temperature. The hot tub was hot, which is very unusual in a hotel. It also has a very nice steam room and sauna, both in great working condition. The hotel room was very well updated and comfortable. Bed was very comfy with big fluffy pillows. Bathroom was a 5 start resort bath. The lobby was beautiful and comfortable. I could go on and on but really I have nothing negative to say. Breakfast is available for an upcharge which was a disapointment when traveling with kids but we found a funky little breakfast place in Siesta Key and had a great time. We would stay here again. I booked on Hotwire at a great price but I would gladly pay full price for this one. It rates a 3 star but really should be a 4."

"Escaped from every day life" -"Room: very neat and clean. Made up daily. AC a bit noisy. Exercise room: small but good variety of machines. Pool: indoor and heated. Hot tub: temperature was nice for me. Restaurant: wings were good. Staff : very nice."

"Beach boy and girl" -"We had a splendid time during our 3 night stay. The staff and amenities are nice. The restaurant serves good food as well. The rooms are well-decorated clean and comfortable. We reached most beaches within a fifteen minute drive. Didn't hear any plane noise. 9 hole golf course next door."

"Remodeled hotel looks great!" -"We just came back from a few days at the Holiday Inn Sarasota (at the airport). The hotel has been remodeled since we were last there and it looks great. Even though the hotel is right across from SRQ, we never heard a single plane take-off or land. The food was good and the rooms generous. We definitely enjoyed our time in the hotel and at some of the local attractions (the Chart House was awesome!). The Holiday Inn was less than $100/night and an awesome bargain."

"FASMC Convention" -"We had a Shriners Motor Corp convention at this Holiday Inn and they were awesome. Motel was spotless, nice rooms, good food and the staff was wonderful, they were right there to make our stay enjoyable. Our banquet was held there also with great food and service. Kit Toney, one of the Hotel Representatives went out of her way to make sure everything was right. Very friendly and knowledgeable. I hope to use this hotel again."

"Absolutely the best!" -"Stayed at this hotel for four days. It is immaculate and well maintained with a cheerful and smiling staff. One of the waitresses in the restaurant, Chelsea, is the perfect example of a model employee. Her friendly smile and attention to details, like remembering your drink is the type of thing that makes life as a business traveler a little easier. People like Chelsea and this hotel in general are why Holiday Inn is my first choice for all my hotel stays and as a Platinum member, they are quite numerous."

"Nice Hotel, Great View" -"The hotel is beautiful and the layout is one of our favorites. A room on the top floor overlooking the airport is the best. Watching the planes take off and land without the noise is awesome. The beds were comfortable. The indoor pool/hot tub makes the hotel perfect when there's cold weather. Doors open to a pretty courtyard for either sun or a bit of shade. The restaurant on site serves some very good off the menu food."

"This hotel has never let us down!" -"The hotel is hip, the staff including Dylan (manager) and Jay (bartender) can't get any better. Whatever your needs, just ask. The hotel has such good amenities.The pool is indoor so you can sit outside and soak up the sun and go inside to the pool, hot tub, steam and sauna. Doesn't get much better. The rooms are always clean and crisp, love the pillows and beds and rooms are quiet. You can have room service or go downstairs to restaurant. This hotel is one of the few that you really can RELAX. Try it out. Oh, you can ask for a room with the view of the airport runway and the lights at night are beautiful."

"Great meeting location!" -"I recently participated in a two day company meeting at the Holiday Inn Sarasota - Airport. The meeting room was perfect and the lunches were wonderful. "Soft as butter linens" -"We were only here for one night...our last night in Sarasota after watching an Orioles Spring Training game. This facility was clean, quiet and spacious. The lobby and restaurant was nicely decorated and comfortable. There was an outdoor seating area with a fire pit. We had a very peaceful night's rest on a very comfortable bed with super soft sheets. This facility is directly across the road from the Sarasota airport, yet we never heard a thing all night long. We will definitely stay here again if we're in the area."

"an oasis nearby the airport" -"My assistant found the hotel for me last minute...and it far exceeded my low expectations. Very clean, modern, and good service. At first, I felt like I was in the middle of nowhere, but it was a quick drive to find some good food. The Curry House satisfied a craving for vindaloo chicken...and pretty close to the Ringling Museum! Wifi and business center were good too."

"Outstanding Hotel" -"I stayed at this hotel with friends for the Sarasota half marathon and had an excellent stay. The hotel looks brand new and the rooms and property were impeccably clean and comfortable. In addition to a great room - the front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful with offering advice on nearby restaurants and attractions. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sarasota and will stay there again when I am in the area."

"Excellent Stay" -"We stayed at this hotel for the Sarasota Half Marathon as it was conveniently located about a 10 minute drive from the race site and in close proximity to good dining options. The service was excellent and the staff was very friendly. The room was great - it was a good size, clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Although being located directly accross from the airport, there was no noise from the planes landing/taking off. I would definitely recommend staying here and would stay again myself."

"Convenient and Comfortable" -"Due to a recent injury we needed to change our room request type to handicap accessible. We stayed at a few hotels on our trip to FL and from the size of the room to ease of use of the bathroom and this location was the best overall for fitting our needs. We were unable to use the pool and fitness center due to the injury type but we have used them here before and they are very nice. This was our 2nd stay at this location and we would not hesitate to come back again."

"Thumbs Up" -"A great find! This Holiday Inn is next to the airport yet you don't hear jets coming and going. Its contemporary design was refreshing. Amenities include an indoor swimming pool, fitness center, restaurant and bar. The staff missed our pre-set 6am breakfast order and quickly provided complimentary breakfast to make things right. We'd stay here again."

"Couldn't have been nicer!" -"From the start, our stay was fantastic. We were greeted as soon as we walked in with friendly smiles. Our check in was quick. The room was clean and it looked new. Nothing looked stained or ripped. Breakfast is a hot buffet. The restaurant is eclectic and the food is surprizingly above average for a hotel. (the bacon wrapped scallops were awesome) The hotel itself has been remodeled and looks beautiful. I would definitely come back here for a weekend getaway or a longer stay. Great job, Holiday Inn!"

The room was excellent, and quite large compared to some other similar properties. We appreciated the platinum elite upgrade. We enjoyed our stay and will be returning when we come back to Sarasota."
